Can the gravimetric blender be connected to the ERP system and MES system?
Yes, no problem. It has four protocols: TCP, UDP, ISOon TCP, and Modbus TCP. Please check which protocol your system uses.
Is it possible to automatically skip when one of the components has no materials (such as crushed materials), and continue to mix the remaining formulas and operate normally?
Okay. we can customized program. We can add a low level sensor on the ground material buffer hopper, and when ground material is lower then that sensor, it will give signal to the PLC, and PLC will skip that material. For example, your recipe is virgin 70%+ground 20%+color 2%+additive 8%, when lack of ground material, PLC will skip it, so the blender will work at virgin 70%+color 2%+additive 8%.
Do the valves operate well with ground material? Can the valves be blocked by any type of material?

Gravimetric Mixer With Screw Feeder For PP, PS, and PET Crushed Materials
This gravimetric blender is specially developed for customers who makes PP, PS, and PET sheet extrusion. In their production, customers will use a large amount of crushed materials, including recycled material from trim edge and thermowaste rolls. If they use traditional gravimetric batch blender, the crushed materials are easy to bridge and get stuck, but this specially designed gravimetric batch blender with screw feeding can solve those problem perfectly.
Gravimetric blenders are widely used in white goods production, including injection molding and sheet extrusion. During sheet extrusion, customer normally use ABS, PS, toughening agent/flexibilizer and color masterbatch. To dose these components automatically and precisely, we need gravimetric blender, which equipped with high sensitivity load cell, can give accurate dosing performance around 0.5%.
Gravimetric Blender With Screw Feeder For Low Color/Additive Ratio
In the formulas used by some customers, the proportion of color masterbatch or additive is very small, about 0.3% to 0.5%. At this proportion, the standard slide gate valve cannot meet the high precision requirements.
Therefore, we recommend this gravimetric blender with screw feeding. The color masterbatch or additives can be fed into the weighing bin through the screw to achieve high-precision dosing.
